And then, life.

Standard

Life always has a way of throwing wrenches into things. These challenges can either make or break any venture; it’s all about how you respond to them. So, the big message of the day is:

We are pushing back our go-live by a whole week! Our new live date is April 1, 2019. No, this is not an early April Fool’s Day joke.

I know it’s terrible! But, gosh darn it, I want to make sure that everything is right for all of the wonderful people that we will be working with.

Other great news is that we will be having our first show debuting July 26, 2019, running just the one weekend! More details to come!

The joys of space

Standard

So here we are, T-minus 5 weeks to live launch. Things are coming together, quickly and slowly. The classroom is nearly ready, more equipment coming this week. The temporary performance space we found is…interesting. Promising, but interesting. We have tentative FIRST SHOW dates! Now to just pick a first show…or write it. Decisions, decisions. But it is an amazing thing to have the room to make those decisions.

Having the brick and mortar locations makes everything more real and more exciting. This pipe dream I’ve had for years is finally coming to fruition and I can see it! Monologues and scripts neatly sorted in color coded hanging files. Costumes hung, props sorted. It’s all really real!
